Shoulder Prehab/ Rehab

To maintain a strong shoulder, i perform a number of prehab/ rehab exercises. From internal, and external rotation, band pull aparts, and my personal favorite dumbbell protraction. I find it extremely beneficial over the years that i have been training. If you add anyone of these exercises to your warm-up and/or part of your workout, you should decrease the likely hood of an injury to your shoulder.

A good start to a New Year !!!

This was a great way to start the New Year of 2009 , it is 20-30 degrees outside, and no one punked out, all showed up!! We had maurice in shorts, gabe showed up late, angel, well she is just angel enouph said, terrell wearing his spandex, nick who had the coolest hat on in the world, and then there is me, that is all i will say.

This entire circuit was made on the fly, we just wanted to shock and over load the nervous system, and that is esxactly what we did. Everyone worked very hard, oh yeah, and maurice complained through out the entire thing, but he still did it. Enjoy

Soon to be Starting Running back at Ohio Dominican !!

This young man will soon be the starting running back at Ohio Dominican University !! He is a beast, I ran him through a pretty nice full body workout, and the young man just kept coming for more !! He has that eye of the tiger ! His workout looked like this:
1) power clean and press 5x5
2a) bent over row 4x6-8
2b) db chest press 4x5-6
3) db rack position squats 3x5
4) sled drag and pulls.


The second video is my training partner who weighs 160 lbs squatting 320 lbs, yes that is 2 times his body weight!! But the guy is a freak of nature, his website is http://www.batl.com/.

Some fun training at a guest gym!!

This past weekend was great, i got to go to a friends gym, and do some training with him, and trained some of his clients as well!! it went awesome! We had one of his clients named Nora, she is so beastly, i would be willing to bet that she could beat a lot of men head to head in a workout!! She is that Beastly! Well in the video, this was a MMA style circuit that we put together, man it rocked!! Please tell me what you think !!

450 lb Tractor tire flip!!!

The tractor tire is my favorite tool to build hardcore strength, and endurance, the tire flip tranlates to really any sport, from mma, football, wrestling, to even basketball. The tire flip is a full body movement that teachs you to use your body in synchronicity. If your Athletic team does not have one then you need to get over to my gym, and train with me, because this alone will help you get past the rest of the competition! enjoy the video !!

The Batl Begins, 1 450 lb tire, 2 men

This battling of the tires is frickin awesome, it works you all over, and it teaches the body about obsorbing a load, and then dishing the load back out, this is really good for combat athletes, as well as wrestlers, and football players. You can switch position like you see in the video, or you can just stay in 1 place, and push back, and forth.

The chump that is with me is Terrell Campbell, The Body Architech. Being serious though, the dude is like 140 pounds with 50 lbs of weights in his shoes, but he can do anything, i have seen him squat 350 lbs to below parallel, for 20 reps, now that is strong. I hope you all like the vid,
