To maintain a strong shoulder, i perform a number of prehab/ rehab exercises. From internal, and external rotation, band pull aparts, and my personal favorite dumbbell protraction. I find it extremely beneficial over the years that i have been training. If you add anyone of these exercises to your warm-up and/or part of your workout, you should decrease the likely hood of an injury to your shoulder.
